Lourdes Health System is a nationally recognized healthcare provider with a strong mission of compassionate, transformational care for all, especially the most vulnerable. Even with its flagship hospital located in one of the nation’s poorest cities, Lourdes had achieved great innovations over the years, but had yet to fully tell their story to the community and beyond.
Deardorff worked with Lourdes to help articulate and evolve their story of achievement in Camden and the South Jersey region, compiling and contextualizing their impressive innovations. And through an emotive video, we captured the enduring higher purpose that inspires the organization.

In 2012, Lourdes established one of the first Accountable Care Organizations in New Jersey. ACOs are comprised of doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers who come together voluntarily to give high quality care to their Medicare patients through better coordination and preventive services, while also controlling overall costs.
Deardorff helped launch the ACO, developing the recruitment materials used during meetings with prospective physicians. We structured the presentation as a flipbook to create a more personal and engaging experience with the prospect, and to more easily demonstrate the benefits of ACO membership for both the physician and their patients.

Osborn Family Health Center is Lourdes’ dedicated center for serving the indigent and underserved of Camden. In its 30 years, it has provided more than one million primary and specialty care visits to the poor. In order to become an “FQHC look-alike structure”, which would allow them to receive more federal funding and offer more services to the community, the centered needed a distinct identity.
Deardorff took on the challenge and created an engaging, memorable logo for Osborn, one that captures the quality of care and commitment that Osborn delivers in providing a safe haven for families in need. The logo design also aligns with the branding of Lourdes Health System to subtly affirm the relationship between the two entities.
